I have recently tried out the Soap & Glory: Sugar Crush Body Scrub to find out what all the hype was about. I am not going to rave about this since this is the first ever body scrub I have actually used on a routine basis so I don’t really have much to compare it to…but I do love it.
I am not really a fan of any kind of scrub whether it be face scrub or body scrub, the scrubbing bits inside them make me feel like I am being scratched ferociously. Anyway, moving back to the subject of Soap & Glory’s Scrub, I really like it. Whether it is me genuinely loving it or forcing myself to love it because it works wonders on my skin, I don’t know. It doesn’t matter anyway, at least its working its magic and that is all we need. Isn’t it?
I am one of those people who can’t settle for the same thing for a long period of time. Don’t get me wrong, I love my showing routine but I just love indulging in a new body soap here and a lotion there. I have a fixed and perfect skin routine, but I just want more!
This Soap & Glory purchase was my ‘more!’
So this has been added into my showering routine.
Up close and Personal…
…not so pretty are we?
It does look like a yucky mess but that’s because it is one of those 100% Organic things that are ugly but make you beautiful.
The first thing I noticed when applying it were the little black balls, they are the ones that act the scrubbing (or should I say scratching) mechanism. Which is good because it really removes off all the dead skin very quickly leaving a beautifying baby soft feeling to your skin. It smells very fresh and zesty but tastes like brown sugar…yes I’ve tasted it! But unintentionally, I promise!
One thing to note though, I do have to use a lot of it for it to work and coming at £8.00 I don’t think it will be lasting me very much longer.
And that is all I have to say about the Soap & Glory: Sugar Crush Body Scrub.
Hope you’ve enjoyed this review!
